The Energising Kowloon East Office has shortlisted four submissions to the Kai Tak Fantasy International Ideas Competition on Urban Planning & Design which will be showcased at a roving exhibition from today to collect opinions.
The office’s head Brenda Au said it had received 80 submissions from Hong Kong, the Mainland and overseas by planners, architects, engineers, landscape architects, surveyors and other professionals.
The submissions are all distinctive, demonstrating the design theme through varied creative approaches, she said.
Views on the shortlisted submissions will be consolidated for the jury panel’s reference in the second-stage adjudication.
People can express their views by August 5 by filling in the questionnaire on the competition website or at the exhibition venues.
The office has also launched the A Place for You video contest co-organised with Federation of Youth Groups’ Jockey Club M21, to encourage public participation in contributing ideas for the Kai Tak Fantasy project.
