Central-Wan Chai bypass tenders invited

Contractors are invited to submit tenders for the Wan Chai Development Phase II - Central-Wan Chai Bypass project in Wan Chai West, the Civil Engineering & Development Department said today.
 
The works comprise land formation and construction of the Central-Wan Chai Bypass in Wan Chai West; construction of the middle ventilation building substructure and associated facilities; construction of a stormwater box culvert; and construction of roads and associated roadworks.
 
The works are to start in December for completion in May 2018. The closing time for the tender is noon on August 3.
 
The department has commissioned AECOM Asia Company Limited to design and supervise the works. The tender forms can be obtained from the company at 8/F, Tower 2, Grand Central Plaza, 138 Sha Tin Rural Committee Road, Sha Tin.
 
The invitation to tender was gazetted today. Tender submissions should be placed in the Government Secretariat Tender Box at G/F, East Wing, Central Government Offices, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar.
