The Centre for Health Protection is monitoring an additional imported case of Zika virus infection in Henan.
The National Health & Family Planning Commission reported the 28-year-old male patient developed a fever and headache in Guatemala on September 4 and returned to Henan on September 8.
He was hospitalised upon arrival when the fever and rash was noticed.
Twenty-three imported cases have been reported on the Mainland so far.
The centre is liaising with the World Health Organisation and overseas, neighbouring and Mainland health authorities.
