The Disaster Relief Fund Advisory Committee has approved a grant of $7 million to World Vision to provide relief for earthquake victims in Nepal.

That brings Hong Kong's financial contribution to the relief effort to $57 million.

The aid agency must submit evaluation reports and audited accounts to ensure the money is used properly.
