The Centre for Health Protection has reported that from noon yesterday to noon today there was one new case of severe adult influenza.

Two additional deaths were recorded among previously reported cases, bringing the total number of cases to 619 and 477 deaths.

The centre again urged people to heighten vigilance and get vaccinated early against seasonal influenza.
