The Centre for Health Protection today confirmed that a suspected local case of Ebola has tested negative.
The patient returned to Hong Kong from Nigeria via Doha on October 20.
He also tested negative for Middle East Respiratory Syndrome.
The centre advised travellers to ensure good personal, food and environmental hygiene.
