Hong Kong-Taiwan Economic & Cultural Co-operation & Promotion Council Chairman Charles Lee will open Hong Kong Week 2014 in Taipei on October 17.
The event will promote cultural exchange and allow Taiwan people to experience the unique essence of Hong Kong culture, bringing the audience closer to the collective hopes, memories and sentiments of the city's people through a series of exhibitions and artistic programmes.
The opening ceremony will be held at Huashan 1914 Creative Park.
Mr Lee will also visit exhibitions and lantern festivals featuring Hong Kong's cultural folk traditions and local literary art.
