The Department of Health has endorsed licensed drug wholesaler Novartis Pharmaceuticals' recall of all batches of Spersallerg Eye Drops (HK-29793).
Novartis reported that one of the active ingredients violated the Good Manufacturing Practice requirements and may cause cross-contamination of the raw material.
The department said the recall is a precautionary measure.
Novartis has set up a hotline (2882 5222) to answer enquiries.
