The Centre for Health Protection has noted an additional human case of avian influenza A (H7N9) in Taiwan affecting a 39-year-old man.
Taiwan authorities said the patient had travelled to Beijing and Jiangsu.
He was admitted to hospital on April 23.
The case was confirmed last night.
