Woman critical with Legionnaires’

The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a case of Legionnaires' disease involving a 33-year-old woman.
She fell ill on August 18, developed fever on August 26 and was admitted to St John Hospital on August 28.
She was clinically diagnosed as having pneumonia and is currently in critical condition.
She tested positive for Legionella bacteria.
She has no recent travel history and her family contacts have no symptoms.
