Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Prof KC Chan says he and his colleagues are working hard to prepare the Budget after John Tsang resigned as Financial Secretary on December 12.
Prof Chan told reporters today preparing the Budget is a long process.
"Right now it is a very busy time as we are trying to budget for all the new initiatives that should be announced in the Policy Address, plus we have to make some analyses about the economy, our fiscal position and so on.
"It is a long process. It is going to happen now and next month."
