Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So will meet with China National Tourism Administration officials in Beijing on November 11 to discuss tighter controls on tourism markets in Hong and the Mainland.
Commissioner for Tourism Cathy Chu, Travel Industry Council Chairman Michael Wu and its Executive Director Joseph Tung will also attend the meeting.
Mr So will also visit the intellectual property trading platform in Zhongguancun.
Under Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Godfrey Leung will be Acting Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development during Mr So's absence.
