The Government today issued the Amber Outbound Travel Alert for the Maldives.
Hong Kong people planning to visit the country or who are already there should monitor the situation, exercise caution, attend to personal safety and avoid travelling to places with protests and large gatherings of people, particularly Male.
The Security Bureau will closely monitor the situation and issue updates through the media and its website.
