Agricultural policy views welcome

The Government will hold three sessions to listen to views on its public consultation document, New Agricultural Policy: Sustainable Agricultural Development in Hong Kong.

 

The sessions will be held on February 9 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the Cheung Wah Community Hall in Cheung Wah Estate in Fanling, on February 25 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Tung Chung Community Hall in the Tung Chung Municipal Services Building at 39 Man Tung Road in Tung Chung, and on February 26 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the Yuen Long Theatre Lecture Room at 9 Tai Yuk Road in Yuen Long.

 

The sessions will be conducted in Cantonese, though simultaneous interpretation in English will be available for the Tung Chung session.

 

The consultation exercise on a new policy to adopt a more proactive approach towards the modernisation and sustainable development of local agriculture will end on March 31.
