Chief Executive CY Leung said President Xi Jinping has fully affirmed his work, and that of the Hong Kong SAR Government.
Mr Leung met with Xi Jinping in Manila today on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Mr Leung said he had briefed President Xi on Hong Kong’s latest social, political and economic developments, and reported that the Central Government supports the SAR Government's focus on economic and livelihood issues.
The President also urged Hong Kong to seize the opportunities from China’s 13th Five-Year Plan and its Belt & Road initiatives, he added.
