Chief Secretary Carrie Lam will visit Singapore and Brunei from July 23 to 27 to seek their support for an early conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
Mrs Lam will officiate at the Spotlight Hong Kong in Singapore event, attend a gala dinner, speak at a business luncheon, and meet with Hong Kong people living and working in Singapore.
She will also meet with senior Brunei officials to promote Hong Kong's role as a financial, trading and shipping centre, and to enhance bilateral relations. Plus she will meet with local business leaders and visit a museum.
Secretary for Labour & Welfare Matthew Cheung will act as Chief Secretary during Mrs Lam's absence.
