Chief Executive CY Leung said today that the Government will use established policies and procedures when considering ATV's licence renewal application.
Addressing reporters ahead of this morning's Executive Council meeting, Mr Leung said the Government is very concerned about ATV's situation, including its failure to pay staff.
He noted that the Secretary for Labour & Welfare has repeatedly urged the company to fulfill its duty as an employer, while the Labour Department has also taken the necessary prosecution action.
