Secretary for Labour & Welfare Matthew Cheung said there is no reason for ATV to postpone December wage payments to its staff.

Noting that the company is seeking new investors, Mr Cheung said the company must settle all outstanding wages to its staff first.

The Labour Department is following the case in accordance with the law to safeguard employees' interests, he stressed.
