Reform discussion will continue, even after the submission of the Chief Executive’s report to the National People’s Congress Standing Committee.
Chief Secretary Carrie Lam told reporters today the Government will continue to work with different groups, hoping the community can forge a consensus to achieve universal suffrage in 2017.
She also assured that the reform report will truly reflect all views, rejecting the Bar Association's claim the report may quote public views out of context.
