The Government will implement constitutional reform according to the Basic Law and National People's Congress Standing Committee decisions, Chief Executive CY Leung reiterated today.
Speaking to reporters before attending this morning's Executive Council meeting, Mr Leung said the Basic Law states clearly that the power of nominating Chief Executive candidates rests with the nomination committee.
