Secretary for Education Eddie Ng has appealed to lawmakers not to filibuster the Appropriations Bill.
Speaking to reporters today, Mr Ng said certain education services would be affected, such as providing WiFi to all schools in Hong Kong from this September, and a lunch subsidy for qualified students.
He added he hopes for the sake of students that lawmakers will stop filibustering the meeting.
