CE to visit New York

Chief Executive CY Leung will visit New York from June 9 to 13 to attend Trade Development Council trade-promotion events.
 
Mr Leung will address the Think Asia, Think Hong Kong symposium opening session, and attend the Hong Kong dinner for this event's closing.
 
He will also address a New York Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office reception for the New York Asian Film Festival's Hong Kong Movie Week opening.
 
He will meet New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, and officials from the National Committee on United States-China Relations, the Hong Kong-United States Business Council and the New York Stock Exchange.
 
Mr Leung will also meet Hong Kong people who work and study in New York.
 
Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So, Chief Executive's Office director Edward Yau, Director of Information Services Michael Wong, the Chief Executive's private secretary Carlson Chan, and Assistant Director (Media) Nick Au Yeung will accompany Mr Leung.
 
Chief Secretary Carrie Lam will be Acting Chief Executive during his absence.
