Enjoy a blissful summer carnival! The Group XPTO from Brazil will present a creative pantomime of an adventure story - Cocktail Clown, with unusual body movements, wonderful sounds and live Brazilian music.

Featuring a splendid cast of colourful characters - Princess Bonbon, Prince Cheesecake, Mr Crab Stick and more, Cocktail Clown tells the story of a clown's exciting adventure.

The performing group perfectly blends its invented language and sensational appearances with beautiful live Brazilian music.

This piece of pure theatre, ranging from the side-splittingly funny to the visually stunning, is ultimately a message of hope and love, and a salute to one of our oldest friends - the clown.

Group XPTO uses theatre, dance, music and puppetry theatre and has won many awards at home and overseas.

It's production Cocktail Clown is the winner of the Best Children's Play Award and the Best Set and Puppet Design Award presented by Brazil's Sao Paulo Association of Art Reviewers.

The programme will be staged at 7.30pm on July 28 and 29 at Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre Theatre and also at 3pm and 7.30pm on July 31 at Kwai Tsing Theatre Auditorium.

Tickets are $100, $140 and $180 at URBTIX outlets, with discounts for the elderly, disabled, full-time students and welfare recipients.
