Christmas
Write your letter to Santa now

Santa Claus lives far away at the North Pole. If you'd like to write to him, Hong Kong Postmaster General Tam Wing-pong may help you pass your letters to Santa in person in November!

Many of you have written to Santa at Christmas time, but may not have received Santa's letter in reply. You may wonder if the letters ever reached Santa.

As Postmaster General Mr Tam is going to visit Finland Post in early November, he has promised to personally deliver 50 letters to Santa Claus.

Mr Tam will also attend a ceremony to mark the issuance of the "Hong Kong, China - Finland Joint Issue on Fine Woodwork" stamps on November 2.

So quickly send a letter to "Santa Claus, c/o Hongkong Post, 2 Connaught Place, Central, Hong Kong", with a self-reply envelope with an English return address inside, no later than October 24. You may receive Santa's reply from Finland.

Hongkong Post will draw lots to choose which 50 letters Mr Tam will carry with him.

As Christmas approaches, don't forget to exchange greetings with friends and relatives, too.
