Road safety

Meet the new road safety mascot

What makes you think of traffic safety at a glance? Well, a new mascot with a red hat and a green banner has just joined local pop stars to offer children road safety tips.

The mascot will promote the Road Safety Council's new message 'Zero Accidents on the Road, Hong Kong's Goal'.

The simple yet lovable character design was selected from almost 3,000 entries in a competition run by the council in March.

With a red car-shaped hat and an 'S'-shaped green banner to represent road safety, it reflects the vision of the 'Zero Accidents' message.

The mascot will join pop stars Hacken Lee and Kelly Chen who have been appointed as ambassadors to help promote road safety messages.
