HK pianist to perform in October

One of Hong Kong's most active local musicians, pianist Kam Wing Chong, will give a recital in October.

Featuring Beethoven's Piano Sonata in D minor, 'Tempest', Debussy's Images, Book II, Liebermann's Gargoyles and Chopin's Fantasy in F minor and Scherzo No. 4 in E, the recital will be at 8pm on Monday, October 11, at City Hall.

Born in Hong Kong, Kam began his studies at the age of five and later studied under pianists and pedagogues Eleanor Wong and Boris Berman. Since his first public concert in Hong Kong at age 10, he has performed in major cities on all the continents and collaborated with world-renowned conductors and orchestras.
