Eclectic sound: Danish band Pierre D�rge and New Jungle Orchestra mixes jazz, Asian, African and European music for a unique experience.

Hong Kong jazz lovers should not miss Danish band Pierre D�rge and New Jungle Orchestra's performance on September 23, part of the Leisure & Cultural Services Department's "Jazz Up" series.

The band was the first jazz orchestra honoured as the official Danish State Ensemble from 1993 to 1996. Its mixture of jazz, Asian, African and European music - and general madness - gives the audience a unique and extraordinary experience.

The concert will be staged at 8pm at Hong Kong City Hall. Tickets at $300, $220 and $150 are available at all URBTIX outlets. Half-price concessions will be granted to senior citizens, the disabled, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance recipients.
