Shamisen sound-off set for Sha Tin

Brotherly band: The Yoshida Brothers mix traditional shamisen music with punk, rock and jazz.

Japanese shamisen players the Yoshida Brothers will perform at Sha Tin Town Hall September 28 and 29 at 8pm.

 

Making their Hong Kong debut, the pair will mix the traditional instrument's sounds with punk, rock and jazz.

 

Ryoichiro and Kenichi Yoshida have won numerous awards for their talent in combining traditional and contemporary styles into their work.
