Pearl River Delta cultural relics go on display
Pottery Model of Boat (replica) from Guangzhou Museum

Slice of life: This pottery boat excavated from a Han tomb in Guangzhou in 1955, is one of the features of the East Meets West exhibition.

*

About 160 cultural relics from Guangdong, Macau and Hong Kong will be showcased at the Museum of History from September 30, highlighting their role in 2,000 years of Sino-Western exchange.

The East Meets West exhibition is jointly presented by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture, the Guangzhou Municipal Cultural Bureau, Hong Kong Home Affairs Bureau and Macau Cultural Affairs Bureau.

The artifacts will be transferred to Guangzhou and Macau for display when the exhibition ends on January 2.
