Woman dies in Mong Kok accident

A 67-year-old woman was killed after she was struck by a car in Mong Kok early this morning.

 

At about 5.15am, a 27-year-old man was driving his car westbound along Prince Edward Road West. Near the junction of Yuen Ngai Street, his car reportedly knocked down the woman as she crossed the road.

 

She was sent to Kwong Wah Hospital where she was certified dead at 5.38am.

 

The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death.
