Safe-driving campaign to launch
*
Hong Kong Police

Police will run a two-week citywide campaign from tomorrow reminding drivers of public service vehicles and trucks to drive safely.

In the first week officers will hand out Safe Driving Code for Goods Vehicles leaflets to truck drivers, covering safe loading and speeding. Project Safe-Ride leaflets will also be distributed to minibus drivers and the public.

Stringent enforcement action will be taken in the second week against traffic offences.

To report bad driving call the Police or the Transport Advisory Committee's Transport Complaints Unit on 2889 9999. People can also call the 24-hour Project Safe-Ride hotline 2754 7668 to report poor minibus driving.
