Driver killed in Ta Kwu Ling pile-up
*
Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating a Ta Kwu Ling traffic accident in which a 60-year-old man was killed. People who have information should call 2455 4221 or 2677 6299.

At about 7.05am today, a container truck, a medium goods vehicle, a van and another container truck were travelling north along Man Kam To Road. The first three vehicles stopped due to traffic conditions near San Uk Ling - but the fourth failed, resulting in a chain collision.

The 60-year-old van driver was sent to North District Hospital with serious injuries and was certified dead near 8am. Investigations by New Territories Traffic Special Investigation Team are underway.
