Senior struck, killed by taxi in Tai Po

A 91-year-old woman was reportedly struck and killed by a taxi in Tai Po this morning. 

 

Around 8.10am, a 51-year-old was driving his taxi along Kwong Fuk Road towards Kam Shan. The cab reportedly knocked the senior down near Po Heung Street, as she was crossing the road.

 

She was sent to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital and later transferred to Prince of Wales Hospital. She was certified dead there at 1.41pm.

 

New Territories North traffic investigation team is following up. Police urge anyone with information to call 2675 3325.
