Man chopped to death in Hang Mei Tsuen

Hong Kong Police

A 39-year-old man was chopped to death in Hang Mei Tsuen near Tin Shui Wai today. Police are investigating.

 

At about 10am this morning, a caller told police the man was lying unconscious outside a Han Mei Tsuen book shop.

 

Police officers found the man with multiple chop wounds on his body. He was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital where he was certified dead at 11.04am.

 

Initial enquiries revealed that five people armed with knives attacked the victim before fleeing in a private car.

 

Yuen Long's District Crime Squad is investigating.
