Mong Kok crash claims man's life
*
Hong Kong Police

A 27-year-old man was killed and two women were injured in a Mong Kok traffic accident this morning.

Just before 1.40am, a private car travelling along the southbound West Kowloon Corridor reportedly lost control and rammed into a motorcycle travelling in the same direction.

On impact, the motorcycle rammed into a kerb and its driver fell from the flyover onto the ground near Bute Street.

The 27-year-old motorcyclist sustained injuries to his neck and was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital where he was certified dead at 3.45am.

Two women inside the car, aged 26 and 31, were also injured.

Police arrested the driver of the car, a 27-year-old woman, for drink driving. Traffic Kowloon West's Special Investigation Team is investigating.

Anyone who witnessed the accident is urged to contact the investigating officers at 2773 5258 or the Traffic Kowloon West Report Room at 2773 5220.
