LegCo to debate opposing US war on Iraq

The Legislative Council will hold a meeting on Wednesday to debate a motion on opposing United States' military actions against Iraq.

 

Chan Kwok-keung will move the motion in the meeting which starts at 2.30pm. Fellow legislator Albert Ho will move an amendment to the motion.

 

During the meeting, LegCo members will ask the Government 20 questions on various policy areas, six of which require oral replies.

Members of the public are welcome to watch the meeting proceedings from the public galleries of the LegCo Chamber. Reserve seats by calling 2869 9399 during office hours. Seats are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
