The Leisure & Cultural Services Department is inviting expressions of interest for the refurbishment, renovation, management and maintenance of, and operation of business in, Repulse Bay Beach's Seaview Building.
The building is at 16 Beach Road, Repulse Bay Beach in Southern District. The outline zoning plan specifies the site for beach-related leisure use. Click here for details of the invitation, which were gazetted today.
The building's proposed design should blend in with the surrounding environment, while its proposed use should be permissible under the current zoning and be open to the public.
The Government may use the ideas and suggestions collected through the invitation to formulate the basis of a subsequent consultation and tender document for the building's future use.
Expressions of interest should be submitted by 5.30pm on July 27. The invitation document can be downloaded here, or obtained at the Southern District Leisure Services Office, 4/F, Aberdeen Municipal Services Building, 203 Aberdeen Main Road during office hours.
A briefing session to introduce the invitation and the information required for submission will be held at the above address at 3pm on July 8. For enquiries, call 2554 6092, or send a fax to 2552 8370.
