Personalised registration applications open

Transport Department

The Personalised Vehicle Registration Marks Scheme's fourth invitation exercise will be launched August 1, the Transport Department says.

Applications should reach the department by September 12. If there are more than 1,500 applicants, those to be considered will be selected by lot.

Download applications forms and guidance notes here. Each applicant can submit only one application in each exercise. If more than one application is submitted by an applicant, none of their applications will be processed.

Applications can be put in the drop-in box at any of the department's licensing offices or posted to the department's Vehicle Registration Marks Unit, Room 506-508, 5/F, Harcourt House, 39 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai. No deposit payment is required at this stage.

For applicants who were not selected by lot in the third exercise but have authorised the department to roll over their applications, if they want to submit another application in the fourth exercise, they should take note of, and complete where appropriate, the part on authorisation and withdrawal of authorisation in the application form.

Upon receipt of an application, the department will send an acknowledgement bearing an application number to the applicant by ordinary post. Applicants who have not received any acknowledgement within two weeks after submission of their applications can call 2804 2600.
