Kwai Tsing Container Terminals
Packed port: Kwai Tsing Container Terminals handled 1.11 million containers in November.

Hong Kong handled 1.75 million containers in November, down 7.9% over a year earlier and 251,000 containers less than in October, the Port Development Council says.

Kwai Tsing Container Terminals handled about 63.4% or 1.11 million containers. Other terminals handled 642,000 containers.

Taking the first 11 months together, Hong Kong's throughput reached 20.5 million containers, a 1.2% year-on-year surge.

Throughput at Kwai Tsing grew 6.8% on the same period last year, to 13.1 million containers. But the other terminals saw a 7.4% fall to 7.4 million.
