Tai Po unlicensed food factory closed

Food & Environmental Hygiene Department

The Food & Environmental Hygiene Department has closed a Tai Po unlicensed food factory and arrested two people, seizing about 114kg of dumplings and cooked food.

  

Department staff raided the factory at Nam Hang Village this morning. They arrested a man and a woman and charged them with operating an unlicensed food factory.

  

The department will take stringent enforcement against unlicensed food businesses to safeguard food safety and public health. To report such illegal activities, call 2868 0000.
