Woman ill with Legionnaires' disease
*
Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection is investigating the year's second Legionnaires' disease case involving a 61-year-old Yuen Long woman.

She came down with fever on May 1. She was admitted to Tuen Mun Hospital May 2 and is in stable condition.

She has no history of travel during the incubation period and her family members have no symptoms.

There were 11 Legionnaires' cases reported last year, with 16 in 2006. For prevention tips click here.
