GFS open day set for Nov 18
*
GFS open day

Flying high: Paper models of Government Flying Service helicopters will be given away at GFS' open day.

*

The Government Flying Service will open its headquarters at Hong Kong International Airport to the public November 18. From 10am to 5.30pm visitors can inspect GFS' fleet of planes and helicopters and watch a low level formation flying by J41 planes and rescue demonstrations.

Police and Customs dogs, the Civil Aid Service motorcycle and bicycle team and band, and the Air Cadet Corps Ceremonial Squadron will perform. There will also be game stalls and exhibitions, and the kids dress up as GFS pilots and have their photos taken.

Free tickets will be available from District Offices from November 1. People can take the MTR to Tung Chung Station (Exit B) and then take the X52 bus to the venue.

As the location is within the Tenant Restricted Area of the airport, all visitors must produce valid proof of identity and show their admission tickets before admission. For more information click here.
