*
Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed a Dengue fever case involving a 27-year-old Sai Kung woman who fell ill after visiting Indonesia, bringing this year's total to 55.

She developed fever, chills and vomiting on November 8 and was admitted to Tseung Kwan O Hospital on November 12. She is now stable.

She travelled to Indonesia October 6 to November 3. Her family members have no symptoms.

Hong Kong saw 31 Dengue fever cases last year, all imported. Click here for prevention tips. The latest information on Dengue fever in other places can be found here.
