Matthew Cheung to visit Tin Shui Wai
*

Secretary for Labour & Welfare Matthew Cheung will visit Tin Shui Wai tomorrow and listen to residents' views at a public forum.

It will be held at the Queen Elizabeth School Old Students' Association Secondary School at 8pm. It will come after Mr Cheung's visits to the Social Welfare Department's Family & Child Protective Services Unit and the Integrated Family Service Centre run by Caritas in Tin Shui Estate.

He will meet the Yuen Long District Management Committee, school principals, representatives of non-government organisations, area committee members, local concern groups, church groups and community leaders.

Mr Cheung also visited the district October 27, calling on the community health intervention project run by the Society of Rehabilitation & Crime Prevention, integrated family service centres run by the Social Welfare Department and International Social Services, and the Tin Shui Wai Woman Association and its mutual help childcare centre.

"I look forward to more in-depth discussions with various groups and people during my visit to the district tomorrow, especially to meeting and listening to the views of residents," he said.
