Five Siu Lam Hospital patients and a staff member have come down with suspected Norovirus symptoms. Three have tested positive for Norovirus. Test results are pending for the others.

One patient, a 45-year-old woman, has been transferred to Tuen Mun Hospital and is in stable condition.

Siu Lam Hospital said it has stepped up infection control measures and all patients are under close medical surveillance. The cases have been reported to the Hospital Authority and the Centre for Health Protection for follow up.
