The Food & Environmental Hygiene Department has urged people to guard against mosquitoes as Japanese encephalitis specimens have been found in Yuen Long Park.

The district's inter-departmental anti-mosquito task force has stepped up efforts, and Government departments have strengthened inspections and mounted special operations to curb mosquito breeding places.

Inspections have found no active breeding site of the vector in the park.
