Kwun Yam Beach reopens
*

The Leisure & Cultural Services Department today reopened Kwun Yam Beach on Cheung Chau after water quality improved from very poor to fair.

According to the latest beach report by the Environmental Protection Department, water quality at Cafeteria Old, Ma Wan Tung Wan, Shek O, Silver Mine Bay and Stanley Main Beaches has downgraded from good to fair.

Anglers', Approach, Ting Kau, Casam, Gemini, Hoi Mei Wan and Lido Beaches are closed to swimmers year round because of poor water quality.
