Climate change seminar set for June 5

*

A seminar on global warming will be held tomorrow by the Environmental Campaign Committee to raise public awareness of climate change and low-carbon living.

 

Entertainer and Green Living Supporter Lowell Lo will speak on his experience in living a low-carbon life. Other speakers include Polar Museum Foundation founder Dr Rebecca Lee, Hong Kong Observatory Acting Senior Scientific Officer Dr Lee Tsz-cheung, University of Hong Kong's Dr Ng Cho-nam and the World Wildlife Fund's Dr William Yu.

 

The free seminars will be held in Cantonese 10.30am to 12.15pm at the Science Museum Lecture Hall. For enquiries call 2595 8182 or visit the committee's website.

 

The committee has also produced three educational DVDs with environmental protection messages. Copies will be distributed to primary and secondary schools free.
