The Space Museum has invited NASA astronaut Commander Christopher Cassidy to speak at a special lecture on June 2.
Cassidy was the 500th human to enter space. He has participated in the assembly of the International Space Station, and performed three successful extravehicular activities during his shuttle missions.
At the lecture he will provide an overview of his STS-127 mission launched in July 2009, NASA and its future space programmes, and the status and prospects of the International Space Station.
The lecture will run from 4.30pm to 5.30pm. It will conducted in English and admission is free with limited seats on a first-come-first-served basis.
