Views on minimum wage rate sought
*

The Provisional Minimum Wage Commission is inviting the submission of views on the initial statutory minimum wage rate.

The commission asked people to express their views after drawing reference to the annual earnings and hours survey report released by the Census & Statistics Department today, as well as other statistical data.

The commission said public views will allow the undertaking of prudent, objective and comprehensive analyses and deliberations on the matter.

Views should be submitted to the commission by April 26 by post to 1/F, Harbour Building, 38 Pier Road, Central, Hong Kong, or by sending an email, or faxing 2110 3518.
